Unfortunately, those so-called mist systems aren't much more than mini-sprinklers. At the expense of getting everything wet, your space is cooled only 10 degrees. Genuine mist systems produce high pressures of 1000psi, so that the water is forced out through tiny nozzles to produce a micro-fine mist. When the mist evaporates into the air, it actually "uses" the ambient heat in the process. Billions of water droplets evaporate into the air around you...and a big temperature drop is the result.
