Use in outdoor misting systems either independently or as part of a 2 stage filtering setup. For .012 inch nozzles and larger, this filter can work to keep nozzles clog free. This can also be an effective part of a 2 or 3 stage filtering process, where larger particulates are captured in earlier stages, allowing the finer filters to catch more small particles without clogging too quickly. Many users utilize a 3 stage setup, starting with the 25 micron, and then using this 10 micron, and finishing with a 1 micron to completely eliminate any nozzle-jamming particles from getting through. The 10 micron filter will not be fine enough for use with .06" or .08" nozzles, when used by itself. |
