This is the standard filter for most applications. These 5 micron filters can be used for outdoor misting systems up to 5 gpm. These will keep your fog nozzles from clogging under highly pressurized water conditions. In order to vaporize water, very small nozzle orifices are required. When even miniscule particles get through, they can be pushed into the nozzles under the 1000 psi of water pressure, and clogging occurs. The problem is easily solved by using this 5 micron filler insert. This stops any particles large enough to do any clogging before they can get into your mist lines. This will save you from having to remove the nozzles and soak them for de-clogging. |
